@nollyggd snagged some good candid shots whilst warming up for some more tracking the other day. Aside from this room sounding absolutely amazing (thank you @realworldstudios), the best part about this session has been working with Nolly all within this one room. For communication sake, speedy tuning tweaks between takes, and deliberation/exploration/feedback on parts, there’s no better way to work. No need for talkback, no need for time consuming travel from one room to the next - it all happens in one room and I think that will actually translate into the results of the final product. This may not make sense to everyone reading this, but if you’ve ever recorded and had to deal with unnecessary downtime because of the distance between the tracking room vs. control room, you may understand how valuable expedience can be in those moments. We’re not quite done with this session yet, but it will certainly be one we won’t forget, and one we model future workflow after in the future.
