It is a privilege to work with the @salvosau I’ve been lucky enough to see the wonderful work they do first hand over the years by visiting the drug and alcohol rehab centres and the homeless shelters. But at Christmas time it is all hands on deck and it’s extremely important to me. We are very lucky to live in our country but for some Australians Christmas time is very hard and stressful. And that breaks my heart. The Christmas Appeal delivers meals, provides accommodation, including a safe haven for those effected by family or domestic violence and ensures no child should go without a present on Christmas Day. If you are in a position to help and do come across one of the wonderful members of the Salvos, know that your contribution no matter how small, could change someone’s life.
