Mais bien d’autres oasis marchandes de ce pays ont révélé des oeuvres aujourd’hui classées au patrimoine mondial de l’humanité. - Une large sélection de ces chefs-d’oeuvre jamais sortis du pays et spécialement restaurés sont présentés dans cette exposition réunissant près de 130 oeuvres. Ce récit de dix-neuf siècles d’une histoire fabuleuse permet de comprendre comment cette région aux confins de la Chine et de l’Inde a pu fasciner Alexandre le Grand, mais aussi les califes de Bagdad, au-delà du monde iranien, vers l’est. - 📍Aile Richelieu, niveau -1. But many other trading posts in the region brought to light works of art that are now listed as objects of world heritage. - A large selection of these masterworks will leave Uzbekistan for the first time and undergo special conservation treatment for the exhibition encompassing nearly 130 works.
