The secret to incredible transformations like this? Consistency. Effort. Finding joy in the process. Working with the individual and not taking a “one-size-fits-all” approach.
Athlete @meaghanbarbuto is on stage in just over a week and this past month she has been grinding hard to add the finishing touches to her physique.
At 4’8” and 111 lbs, she is packed with muscle! I’ve never seen anything quite like it in my 12 years of coaching women.
I want to showcase Meaghan because she represents the type of body that has made the most progress in fat loss on a low carb approach. Too often we see coaches highlighting the high carb approach of their ECTOMORPH clients, misleading a lot of women into thinking something is wrong with their metabolism if they can’t lose body fat on a higher carb diet.
Meaghan has spent the bulk of her prep on low carbs, and we are in the final push this week, before tapering off cardio and walking up carbs during peak week.
She will NOT be cutting water during peak week. She will NOT be cutting salt.
She will stick to low fodmap easy-to-digest carb sources when we do start increasing carbs. 🏆
The look we are after for her category, Figure @wbff_aust is a very tight, full look, with no spillover, great muscle separation and some striations and vascularity, while maintaining a pleasing, feminine, glamorous look.
