After 10 years, 8 months, and 8 days, I am now down to my final week at Imagination Stage. What an incredible journey it has been both personally and professionally. From Development Manager of Individual Giving (and young woman with a boyfriend) to Director of Development (and deaconess/wife/mom of two). I am so grateful for the many hardworking, kind, and passionate people who have come into my life through Imagination Stage. I have learned and grown so much over the last decade and am forever indebted to the wonderful staff/board and powerful experiences that have shaped who I am today. My time at Imagination Stage has confirmed my passion for building relationships and striving for greater equity in the arts and education. I believe deeply in the mission and work of Imagination Stage and it's definitely hard to transition away from this amazing role and organization at a time of incredible growth and change. It is truly the end of an era but I look forward to remaining engaged with the organization as a donor, subscriber, and IStage super fan. As bittersweet as this transition will be, I am truly excited for my next professional adventure. On August 1 I'll be joining the My School DC team as the Director of Partnerships and Engagement. More on that soon... For now I'm crafting an epic exit memo and soaking up my last week of hearing the laughter and squeals of our students and families (and for those who know me well, also trying not to cry)!
