1940s Wig Styling Last quarter in my makeup class I studied and practiced using period references to set and style wigs from a variety of eras! This is my 1940s wig, and I am supremely proud of the details and pin curls I was able to achieve. I also got practice making a detachable hair piece to incorporate into the style (see the four-strand braid in the final photo). Perhaps next I’ll share some behind the scenes photos of the set and inspiration!
