Newsies. This has been my dream show for as long as I can remember. Playing Jack was the opportunity of a lifetime - I've looked up to this character and the meaning of this show for so long. It was everything I dreamed it could be. Every song, every dance number, and every scene was captivating, as if the show I had seen 122 times (not an exaggeration) on Disney+ jumped straight onto the Ringgold High School stage. I am immensely proud of my cast and crew who gave their all each and every night, and for the countless hours of work they put in. Ringgold High School has been nominated for 5 Shuler Awards this season, and they were earned through blood, sweat, and tears. I am overjoyed to say that I was nominated as Best Leading Actor for my performance of my dream role, Jack Kelly. I am honored to be listed among the other nominees, and to be able to go to the Shuler Awards with my theatre family. Thank you for everything, everyone. To my wonderful directors @jellis2345 & @kasperayn, thank you for believing in me, and giving me Something to Believe In. You have both allowed me to grow so much, and I'm forever thankful. To my cast and crew, thank you for making this show one for the history books. You brought so much joy to everyone who came to see the show, and even more to the family we call RHSPA. I love you all! @jachauncey, thank you for working with me so much, and molding my voice into what it is today. Thank you for sitting through the countless hours of Santa Fe... must have been hard!
