The crowd was as beautiful, freaky and sexy as ever at day one of the @Afropunk music festival, which returned for the first time since 2019 due to a Covid-forced hiatus. Day one’s lineup included artists such as The Roots, Isaiah Rashad, Tierra Whack, Rodney Chrome, Bbymutha and more. "It's great to be back,” one attendee who goes by Wensday tells us. “This is needed right now, especially in the times, and the bad energy that's going on, people really need to connect and just vibe out."
