Hagar is a participant in a CARE-supported literacy course in her village in Chad. She has learned to read, write her name, and do arithmetic. “Before this course, everything was complicated for me. When I sold my products, I often made mistakes. I was also very slow at giving change to customers...” she says. “Now things are much simpler...My whole life has changed, and I'm sure as the weeks go by I'll learn a lot more," she says.
