today is the original release date for my EP “eleven achers” that got pushed back to march 11th 2022 i’m not much of a birthday person so i initially wanted to release my debut project on the same date to have something beyond an age to celebrate. cover: i always caught myself looking back at the pictures of my mom and thinking how chic and effortless her look was in the late 80s/early 90s. no matter how old i was, i thought her look was timeless. all i’ve ever wanted was to be like her. i channelled young mom in now me. thank you @crownsandowls @noir.productions for bringing all my hopes to life on this project. you were seriously some of the most efficient creative team i’ve ever worked with. @steph__major not only did you work perfectly on the fashion side, but you took such care & delicacy with incorporating my hijab. ofc the biggest props to @cb_3 for standing by me through all my good and bad decisions.. none of this was possible without you. 🐐 i’m leaking this cover as a gift from me to you! if you wanna gift me, presave the link in my bio 🤍
