Greetings, Venice! The Venice Immersive, the XR - Extended Reality section of the 79th Venice International Film Festival will be held in person again this year! It’s was one of the first film festivals in the world to show an interest in Virtual Reality. Our Head of Programme, Samantha King will also be there, come say hi! 👋🏻 Not far away from the Venice Immersive Island (island of Lazzaretto Vecchio), within Venice’s Giardini and Arsenale venues, we presented an immersive new installation and film ‘Of Whales’ based on Herman Melville’s ‘Moby Dick’ by artist Wu Tsang (@wu_tsang) at the 59th Venice Biennale (@labiennale).
