What a wonderful final night in Boorloo. @waca_cricket @scorchersbbl paid their respects to the First Nations people of WA with their own Aboriginal round. @jdpenangke was absolutely celebrated with her artwork featuring on the team’s playing shirt. Such a proud mum witnessing her confidence, nerves, excitement & humility. Being invited into the barefoot circle confirmed our place in the Scorcher’s family. Standing shoulder to shoulder with players & my daughter.. while experiencing Uncle Richard Walley’s welcome with his son @olman81 playing the didg from the @optusstadium roof - spectacular!
