Meet Oyewole Talabi, from Nigeria. He has been living with type 2 diabetes since 1984 and he is a member of Blue Circle Voices network. "Diabetes is a condition that is near and dear to my family. I lost my grandfather to diabetes complications, my father has been living with type 2 diabetes for almost 40 years, and several extended family members are also affected by the condition. Creating awareness and providing diabetes education in the community is a major aim of my organisation, the Talabi Diabetes Center. Joining the BCV network will allow me to collaborate with an organisation that shares the same goals. By joining our voices we can provide diabetes awareness and education in areas where they are very much needed."
