Alba Huerta’s James Beard Award-winning bar, Julep, is taking over Licorería Limantour, a Mexico City institution headed by bar manager José Luis León, on Sunday September 4, 2022. Licorería Limantour, the 2021 Best Bar in North America and No. 6 of the @50bestbars, has made a name for itself delivering refined cocktails made with seasonal ingredients that reflect the vibrant spirit of Mexico City since 2011. Huerta will bring three of Julep’s signature cocktails (Guava Fizz, Cape Fear Cooler and Oregano Cobbler) to the elegant 2-story space at Licorería Limantour, as well as an exclusive cocktail in collaboration with José Luis León featuring Hongo Langosta.
