How to get the perfect wax temperature & consistency 👌🏻 Strip wax can be quite tricky to nail but once you know what to look out for, it will be a breeze! Pro Tips ❗️ * When first trying to sort out your wax temperature dial always go 3/4 of the way. Adjust the dial as you follow the next few steps. * You want your wax to have a smooth consistency with no lumps or bumps when mixing with a stick (think gooey slime vibes). * Always test the temperature on the back of your hand and aim for it to feel luke warm. * Once you are confident and happy with your temperature only turn off at the wall, do not touch the dial. What you DON’T want ❌ * Wax being too COLD as this is hard to spread on the skin, stringy when attempting to apply and hairs left behind. * Wax being too HOT which is almost impossible to keep on the stick, uncomfortable for the client and may cause skin lifting.
