July highlight - @protectourwinters Summer Alliance Summit! Why? Obviously fun was had. But more than that: 3 days of hanging with super smart committed people debating and better understanding how my voice can fit in to climate advocacy. I believe we need systemic change to protect the places and lifestyle I love. Systemic change means corporations and governments. That’s why I use my voice and that’s why I want to encourage you to vote in these midterms and to prioritize climate positions that make sense as you choose your candidates! There are so many worthy issues these days in US politics. Climate is #1 on my list - systemic change can not only limit warming and the wild weather crises we see around us; it can also stimulate our economy and add jobs, without reducing our quality of life. I am so optimistic of how far we’ve already come on climate action in the US (thanks largely to business and individuals), and we are going to go so much further! #stokethevote2022
