Zamira and her family are rebuilding their lives little by little after the incredible hardship of the floods in #Pakistan. 💪✨ Their home is in the Badin district in Sindh province. The family has finally been able to return to their village, but they are still sleeping outside next to their house, which suffered too much damage from the monsoon rains. Zamira and her mother are both receiving malnutrition treatment from WFP and have already made great progress. Since 2021, WFP has been successfully implementing a nutrition support intervention as part of Pakistan’s national social protection programme, providing cash transfers to ultra-poor families. Integrating this programme into the national safety net ensures that the most at-risk mothers and children are identified and supported with a series of activities including awareness on nutrition and hygiene practices, nutritional support, and cash assistance. 📷 WFP/ Marco Frattini
