I’ve worked on it for 2 years, poured hundreds of hours into mixing and changing and rearranging it and literally havent talked about anything else in months, only working off the input of lovely strangers, close and distant friends, family, and various animals i’ve taken in from rover and wag. cover was shot by @cyburbs love is about boundaries. ghost rail is about leaving something behind. lucid is about seeing something clearly with distance (for all my far sighted baddies out there) unwinding paths is about people you thought you knew and trusted falling away from you vista is about perspective I made it during a hard time. I think the songs reflect that. during a time of reflection and introspection I was going through one of the biggest and most profound changes of my life. I want to create beautiful things. I also tend to keep personal things to myself. but I think beautiful things can only really be perceived by one another so I hope you think this is one of them. I hope you all can feel the heart and time I put into this. everyone I’ve shown says they’ve never heard anything like it. thank u to my partner for not losing their mind at how many versions i’ve forced them to listen to. thanks to anyone who let me talk to them about it.
