A huge thank you to @ed_miliband and @lucympowell for their time yesterday as we met to discuss the wedding sector and our urgent need for a roadmap and plan to a safe and incremental reopening of the sector. It is all very well for @borisjohnsonuk to say publicly that weddings will be back in spring but there needs to be a plan to achieve this safely. Every week that passes without a roadmap means more couples consider postponement, more businesses and individuals in the industry struggle and our recovery moves further and further out into 2021. It was great to hear Ed and Lucy’s take on the situation and their time, support and empathy was much appreciated. #whataboutweddings
