✨Tickets on sale now - head to the link in our bio ✨ Sydney Design Week at Ace Hotel Sydney presents: PLAY - Community Clay Curated by Flack Studio & Karen Black - @karenblackstudio A takeover of Good Chemistry - the laneway cafe / gallery space at Ace Hotel Sydney — and the entire adjoining Foy Lane will become a tactile forest of random sculptures made by the community, bringing the laneway to life, for a weekend of PLAY. Tonnes of clay will be dumped in Foy Laneway for a clay wonderland. We invite members of the public to participate in creating a small ceramic alongside artists and creatives. These public-made figures will then become part of a growing exhibition in Good Chemistry for the following months. PLAY Play is something that as children is innate in us, but as we get older, many people find it very difficult to achieve. There will be no rules about what you can make with the clay, stay a half hour or get in to it for the entire day. It will be a kind of wonderland of playful clay sculptures. Come and create your own sculpture, or walk through and pick up a piece of clay, adding to existing sculptures or carve your name in to a work. 🎟 Grab tickets before they sell out.
