It’s @janeapor’s milestone 50th, which has taken my family on a winding, sentimental journey back through old photos — a few highlights of us spanning early ‘80s through ‘90s (thanks, @anneverner!). With nearly a decade between us, at times we have felt closer in age than at others. But through and through, I have always known how lucky I am to have her as my sister. The bond between sisters evolves over time. Now, at this stage — and despite the distance — we understand and care for each other in new and lasting ways. Jane, all of us celebrating you today can agree that your friendship is an extraordinary gift. Hopefully you feel some version of this from us, from me. Happy Birthday.
