I said what I said. 😏 But in all seriousness... In the Alps, you get miles of connected slopes across numerous villages and valleys, not just one mountain. 
Lunch is wine, cheese, and fondue in a cozy alpine hut — not chicken fingers at a prefabricated lodge. Parties? Would you like on the ski hill or off? Either way, the deejays are world class and the entrance is free. The slopes? Everything from beginner to crazy advanced off piste and with the majority of hills above the treeline you get great views, amazing snow reliability and those big bowls we all love. 
And the lift pass? Half the price or even less. Hotels, food, drinks? All if it, costs way less. You can literally fly all the way to the French Alps for less than a few days at a place like Vail. 
Throw in ancient villages, breathtaking views, and world-class après-ski... Yeah — Europe wins. Who doesn’t want this?
