I went off the grid and off the ‘gram this weekend for the holidays so let me catch you up ;) We’re staying at @21ccincinnati Museum Hotel which is the most unique boutique hotel in downtown Cincinnati devoted to 21st century art & design. It was a struggle to get here from NYC but we got lucky 🙏🏼 After hours of being delayed at LGA (and watching every flight except ours get cancelled) we were finally en route to where my fiancé grew up. While I don’t know much about Cincy, I knew there was a 21c Museum Hotel here—their iconic yellow penguin makes ‘em easy to locate. We booked their contemporary corner suite which has an immaculate bathroom that’s literally its own suite. Here we spent the weekend wrapping gifts and binging on “Fleishman Is In Trouble” until it was time to link up with Joseph’s family for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I miss my family immensely (and it’s tough celebrating 🕎 alone) but it’s nice to be with Joe’s in the Midwest as I’m originally a Midwest girl too. Even though we’ve been getting hit with snow (with temps in the negatives), it’s impossible to get bored in a Museum Hotel where there are 4 levels of contemporary art galleries. Well, I guess I’m speaking for art lovers...but we are having such a time! Heading to @metropoleonwalnut (their restaurant) now for some spiked eggnog and hot toddy. Will post a room tour later!
