While the cuff challenge is cute 💁🏽‍♀️we need to have some real conversations afterward that won’t make a lot of folks happy. It’s not just about diversity, but it’s also about addressing the racism thriving in these hospitals and residency without a path forward to address meaningful manner. Actionable change- be the leader in these spaces. Stop letting admin or performative ally’s dominate— now if the leadership position not an option or the position comes without power to change then pivot and create your diversity initiative. We don’t have to participate in toxic DEI spaces.
