When I think Welcome To The Future I think Gert v. Veen @mrquazar. He started WTTF somewhere around ‘95 if I have to guess 🤔 (don’t kill me please🐣) with the first editions at Paradiso in Amsterdam. I played several editions and I will never forget that one at the old Tivoli in Utrecht. It was actually a really bad one for me with hardly any people. 10 people at most if I remember correctly. So of course as a dj you feel really bad about it with just 10 people (maybe even less). End of my set feeling really down I talked to Gert how disappointed and bad I felt about the amount of people. And then Gert just said: “but you kept them all in. They didn’t leave”. That was 1 of these moments that he was able to turn a bad moment into a positive thing and cheered me up. I will never forget that moment ❤️ Happy to be part of the last edition at ‘t Twiske on saturday as well. Hopefully not the last WTTF. See you all on saturday 🎪☀️✨✨
