—— We NEED to talk about Jordan + Sean’s elopement, because when I say it was pure magic... 😍 For their sunrise ceremony, we met up around 2 am (😅) at the base of the trailhead. We hiked our way up the mountainside with just our headlamps and stars to guide us 🌌 When we arrived at the peak, just before sunrise, we took some downtime to hang out, eat some snacks, snap some starry pics, and wait for the sun to crest over the horizon. When blue hour graced us, we began the ceremony—just the two of them. They exchanged vows and rings and it was so perfectly filled with intention and love. Following the ceremony, they popped some champagne to celebrate 🥂🍾 Then we hit the trails again to explore and take some portraits. We stumbled across a little mountain lake that was so still and calm, it allowed us to get perfect reflections of Jordan + Sean, with the mountain peaks on the glassy, mirrored surface. When we finished up exploring, we started our hike back down the mountain. As luck would have it, we had the whole mountain to ourselves the whole day, not another soul showed up. At the bottom, we drove to another nearby location to meet up with their parents and snap some quick family pics before we parted ways. Jordan, Sean, and their families headed off to fill their bellies with breakfast, and I went back to the comfort of my bed—those 2 am wake up calls can be rough (but WORTH IT)--and did I mention this was all before 10 am 😂 To Jordan + Sean: thank you for allowing me to capture your love for one another through my lens.
