Healthy cherry crumble!!
This is the perfect summer cherry recipe of your used looking for something quick, easy, and light! 🍒
Recipe:
Serves 2-3
Cherry base:
- 1 1/2 cups chopped cherries
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Crumble topping:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp oil of choice (I used olive oil but coconut or avocado works too!)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Strat by slicing your cherries and removing the pits. Place in a baking dish (I used a 5” round ramekin) and add the rest of the cherry base ingredients. Mix and set aside.
2. In a small bowl, mix together all of the crumble ingredients. Spoon over top of the cherry base into an even layer.
3. Bake at 350°F for 30-40 min.
4. Let cool and enjoy!
