Dear soccer, Never could I see my life without you. For the past 13 years, you have given me lifelong friends, life lessons, and happiness. You have provided comfort when needed the most. Provided the right people at the right time. Provided the lessons that needed to be learned. Through the good, the bad, and the injuries, I would still choose to play your beautiful sport all over again. Because of you it led my life to Lee. Lee University offered me a chance to play collegiate soccer, make new friends, and grow a closer relationship to God. You are the reason I am who I am today.
