In addition to leading a Black-owned spirits brand, Fawn, alongside her husband Keith, just made a significant investment by purchasing a bank. “So...we bought a bank. Actually, even better, we bought the building and became the landlord of Keith’s parent’s bank. You want to know how women and people of color decrease the wealth gap? Real estate,” Fawn shared on Instagram. ⁠ ⁠ Fawn further reflected on the milestone, revealing she was once living in a homeless shelter at the age of 19. What’s more, Fawn revealed her interest in purchasing the property was fostered by her husband, who already had three properties before they were married.
