We’ve been thinking about doing a CHAI GLASS for ages. But the more we think about it, the less there is to do to a design that has evolved, and resolved itself over decades. Chai used to be drunk and still is from from the humble unglazed terracotta kulhar that is so perfect in its circularity. But this design in glass is equally affordable and recyclable. I love the anonymity of these objects and their ecosystems, that they represent a place, a community or a cultural ritual over a person or a name. If we do decide to do something, it better be good enough to sit alongside this very perfect object. ❤️
