[...] as i truly enjoy learning more about the crafts i engage in by studying pieces that make my eyes and heart sing, i undertook the fun adventure of channelling Ian Woods' [very] funky & tender use of space within his pieces. [...] i posted these explorations once they were done and later felt compelled to archive them as they were yet another reminder that i [believed i] was not able to find/have an "artistic signature" - something that made my explorations easily recognizable. tonight, i am sharing them once again as an exercise, a challenge to accept, cherish & love my craft through all its processes, shifts, & stages. my explorations are constantly shifting just like myself, and that is a signature worth celebrating and sharing! always!
