🫣SEN mum life is not for the faint hearted 🫣 I often like to show the positives of having a child with Down Syndrome on here as who doesn’t love showing the best bits? Don’t get me wrong we have so many best bits and our lives are so happy and fulfilled but one of the things I really wish Remy understood is DANGER! Remy literally has no fear or sense of danger, he wouldn’t think twice about running off in a carpark, climbing the biggest climbing frame or turning on the hot tap! Keeping him safe can sometimes be exhausting, we cannot take our eyes off him for one single moment through risk of him hurting himself or escaping out of a window! Being a SEN mum is hard sometimes.
