My first pride parade I walked in was in 2019. Protesters filled their gate section, with 50 people screaming at us with mega phones. I was alarmed, my heart dropped a little. The LGBT center I walked with screamed back at them so loud that I couldn’t hear their hate. It’s 2022, and I traveled down the parade side by side with my girlfriend @according.to.lu . The crowd of hate had shrunk this year, with turnout being just a handful of loud men with megaphones. We loved @comingoutcoach and @becominglena kissing in front of protesters at a pride parade in Utah, so we had a mission to do the same. Thank god those mothers are lesbians 😉❤️ Love is a powerful source against hate. .
