#BTS: Working a large wall work was new to me. What it would take to *move* a large wall work— new to everyone. . The work is hung on a French cleat. The first thing that I did once the shape was cut, was to put a cleat on the back. I made the heads with the entire 8 foot work leaning against a hot wall outside of the studio. I worked heads and faces for a couple of weeks, then the work went up on the wall and it was assemblage time. I completed the work in nyc. .
