Coastal Expeditions guide Chance Feimster brought in insects to Sanders-Clyde Elementary today for an OUTSIDE IN program. Sponsored by a grant from @cummins, Outside In is a progressive program that follows an entire grade at Sanders-Clyde Elementary School on the Charleston peninsula from Kindergarten through fifth grade. This program is designed to work with the same students for six years to strengthen STEM test scores, develop environmental literacy, and nurture future environmental stewards. This repeated exposure has allowed our guides to really connect with the students, strengthening our ability to teach them about the outdoors. Look at how engaged the kids are!
