Italy on my mind ❤️
Venice is the world’s only pedestrianised city, and with no vehicles on the streets, you can have an enjoyable walking experience.
It also means getting around Venice involves boats, there's just no way around it - and I love it.
There are three ways to get around Venice:
- Vaporetto / ACTV Water Bus: A Vaporetto is a quick, easy and reliable service to use costing €7.50 for a single journey, anywhere around Venice. You can also buy tickets for 1-day, 2-days, 3-days and 7-days.
- Traghetti: Traghetti are very similar to gondolas, but are only used to cross the Grand Canal perpendicularly at points where there is no bridge nearby. The price for a single crossing is 2 euros
- Private Water Taxi: If you‘re willing to experience a more private transportation. The price of a cab ride will cost you between € 80 and € 130 each way for a maximum of 4 people.
What do you prefer ? 🙂 🇮🇹
