Last June 18, 2022, my Lola celebrated her 90th birthday (a few days earlier than her actual birthday, June 20) and here are some photos that I want on my feed forever. What I said in my speech was true, you are our idol and inspiration. My lola is everything to everyone. Everyone who was there for her birthday has been touched by my lola and I’m sure even those who could not make it or even those who were not invited, everyone she’s met, she’s made a lasting impact on. To my Mama and my titos and titas, you’re a mother, to some guests here you are a teacher, to a lot of people they know you as a friend, a mentor, even a businesswoman, but to me you will always be my Oma, my lola mama. And I cannot be more thankful that God placed me to experience your love. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve admired my grandmother. She is brilliant, beautiful, and most of all my lola was generous, generous with her time, generous with her kindness, and most of all, generous with love. Bata pa lang ako, alam ko ng mahal na mahal kami ng lola mama namin, ng oma ko. To this day my Lola is as gracious and loving as ever. Even after we celebrated her 90th birthday, I can only think to myself, how lucky I am to be an apo of the great @marianieto914. I love you Lola! PS thank u @kayeyap for lending me ur film cam
