Ok , so boom! This Sunday marks the official opening of @equatorproductions very first multi-use studio space! I’ve been in so many different photo studios some of which I practically lived in and would think to myself “One day I’ll own a studio I can shoot in but it’s going to feel different” that different feeling was belonging and great furniture taste Of course 😅 but ultimately to create space and build community through meaningful art. We along with our sisters at @ashya.co have a day full of music, family friendly games, art, and fun planned. 2-6PM — In Celebration Exhibition / Official Studio Opening The Equator Studio official opening with a curated photo series in celebration of the richness of African American heritage and the enduring spirit of our larger creative community. Prints will be available for purchase. 2-6PM — Field Day hosted by ASHYA Join us for drinks, music, live painting & family friendly games. Sounds by: Gianni Lee + Live painting, AListKariss, and Torey + Khorey.
