Detroit Days, Detroit Nights : Seriously, I had the best time visiting Detroit ( for the first time ) last week. Three solid days of seeing both expected and unexpected old friends, artists and meeting so many cool people with positive creative energy...all fundamentally thanks to @anthonycuris @jjcuris and the entire @librarystreetcollective family. Seeing first hand what they have built organically from the ground up over the last 10 years was nothing short of impressive. And if that wasn’t enough, we were all there to support and witness their next great ambitions at @theshepherddetroit including studios, residency spaces, coffee and book shop and a mid build walk through of the integral skatepark with none other than co-designer @tonyhawk himself, who I also enjoyed a brief chat with about NYC skate history. Threaded throughout was quality time with old friends @_revok_ @mcfetridge @struggle_inc @arecolman @ceyadams @samfriedman and @tamarawarren plus I enjoyed meeting the very talented @ryantravischristian @tyrrellwinston @jacquelinesurdell @kelseybrookes and @phillipksmith3 Special thanks to Cathy, Alessandra, Tara, Haille, and the entire LSC staff. Lastly, @mattymatheson that wagyu beef was memorably insane, and so are you, and I mean that in the best way. Thanks again LSC and thank you Detroit, that was a fantastic first visit and looking forward to next time! 🥂
