You might be wondering why a hormone-focused dietitian would prioritize working on minerals with all of her clients. Optimizing mineral balance is like setting a strong foundation for a home. We need key minerals for things like digestion, detoxification, as well as energy, and hormone production. Without those minerals in place, you often end up chasing symptoms. It's like redoing the bathroom when the entire foundation is unstable and crumbling. It makes no sense. I know for myself, I was so focused on estrogen dominance and the fact that my thyroid wasn't producing enough thyroid hormone that it kept me on a hormone hamster wheel full of bandaids like DIM and thyroid medication (which did not work for. me--hair fell out, couldn't sleep, etc.) that didn't bring any relief. When I looked deeper at what caused those issues in the first place, I finally felt relief. Hair mineral testing was that magic piece for me, and it is for many of my clients. I had done DUTCH test, GI maps, micronutrient blood tests, thyroid panels; you name it. Those tests have value and are helpful, but not if you aren't addressing the spark plugs that help all of those systems run--minerals. That's why I created the Master Your Minerals course. I can't work with everyone 1:1, and I wanted it to be more affordable. So I gathered up all of my knowledge on hair mineral testing and put it into an easy-to-digest course.
