THE MATH IS NOT MATHING——numbers do lie when 👨🏼‍⚕️ get through twisting them arouns to paint a different pic 💁🏽‍♀️ So do the work and stop believing these hospitals at face value. I don’t care if they have websites full of stock photos of Blacks and brown folks —-look at their staff!!! If you don’t see yourself reflected in the website image then trust hospital leadership-doctors, NP, PA, dentist, then they probably not as diverse friendly as they pretend to be. Check the photos- if you see doctors only being on staff for few years and leaving then it’s probably toxic. Ask to see their RETENTION AND HIRING DATA. If you applying to med school or residency look at the class photos — if you see black and brown folks falling off as years go by or failed to progress —watch out! We have to do our own work yall!!
