What I needed sorely in the past 3 months was a bit of a reprieve from the humongous amount of stress and worry I had been under, and thank my lucky stars, I got an opportunity via a shoot (which went amazingly well with the best team!) to travel to Santorini where I quickly proceeded to extend the work trip to a 3 day holiday. This year has been awfully trying, so I cannot say my little holiday went without any hassles(I'm a bit superstitious). But I somehow managed to move past all that and have a beautiful time which left me wanting just 1 more hour..just 1 more day. I've always found solo traveling to be so therapeutic (despite my mum finding it incomprehensible); to be without expectations, to have no burden of making sure anyone else other than yourself has a good time, to not deal with conflicting interests and schedules which always happens in a group...I do feel like if you can learn how to travel solo, it really will change your life.
