Today we said goodbye to the best dog ever. Dudley was the best puppers there could be. My emotional support animal, my best buddy, and half of the time my pillow. I will never forget the days of endless playtime from the first day we went to visit you and pick you up from your foster parents, you were running around the farm with me chasing toys and the tennis ball, to going down to our little park to play fetch with the chuck it. And who could forget all the times you chewed up and ate things you shouldn't have, jumping up on the counter to each chocolate chip cookies, a full chocolate bar, and even a cookbook (that one still might be on your best friend, Buddy). We were so lucky to be able to rescue you, even though in the end, I think you rescued us. After a great 13 years you had with us, and only assuming you were about 1 when we got you, your time as a 14 year-old is a very long time for a puppers like you. Go have fun and play with all your friends now (Buddy, Woofer, Porter) and say hi to Hershey too. I will never stop missing you, rest easy my d-o-g 🐾❤️
