Now Open: South Park’s European Beer Bar 🍺✨🥨 📍@bocksouthpark | 1521 30th Street From the team behind some of San Diego’s best spots to drink (@vinocarta | @bottlecraftnorthpark | @bottlecraftlittleitaly) comes Bock. Named after the German style of beer and a playful nod towards their mascot the goat. This self described neighborhood bar is curated to be your new hangout spot for a post work, pre dinner, or @padres game beer and we think they nailed it. We spoke with owner Brian Jensen about his goals for Bock, and learned that he is trying to bring back a pint of the traditional European drinking culture that is so legendary overseas. Yes there will be local craft beers, but the styles are heavy towards the traditional. Expect to find styles like: Festbier, Kölsch, Schwarzbier, Helles Lager, Trappist Dubbel, English-Style Porter, and of course a selection of So-Cal’s great West Coast IPA’s and Lagers. Being that neighborhood bar means a casual vibe that is always ready for you. With free shuffleboard, free pool, some TV’s for Padres and a plethora of games, come grab a beer and chill with friends. Hungry? Bock shares this space with @biersal_kitchen. Serving up a small but mighty menu of German street bites designed to pair perfectly with a few pints.
