I recently had the most amazing evening at @comptoirlibanais experiencing fresh and authentic Lebanese food. I love Lebanese food because it is always high in flavour and never feels too heavy. As you can see, the interior is completely s t u n n i n g and the food is an equal match. Here you can enjoy fresh mezze, succulent meats from the grill, tagines, flavoursome breads and much more.
My top 3 dishes:
šÆ Harissa and Honey Chicken // A roasted half chicken marinated in honey & harissa, served with spiced Lebanese potatoes & pomegranate seeds.
š« The Mezze Platter // Hommos, baba ghanuj, tabbouleh, falafel, natural labneĢ, cheese samboussek, flatbread & pickles.
š Lamb & Halloumi Burger // Grilled lamb kofta burger with grilled halloumi, harissa sauce, tomato, pickled cucumber, lettuce & sesame seeds. (This isnāt actually pictured on my reel as I got this during a previous visit and it was 10/10)
And ofc, after your meal you HAVE to try the mango and vanilla cheesecake as well as the chocolate brownie because they both were so good!!
Iām so happy I got the chance to visit again, as the first time I went, the food took ages to come out. Thankfully, this time round the service was incredible, not just for us but I saw how attentive they were with the tables around us - exactly why you canāt base reviews around one experience.
Thanks for having me!
