This was an emotional one for sure. As a Black creative, Virgil inspired me in ways I barely even have the words for. A creative who never let themselves be boxed in. A creative who made it in an industry where many of us aren’t welcomed with open arms. A creative who truly did whatever they wanted. I can only aspire to be even half as great. Here’s to following our dreams and creating whatever the hell we want, even when people say we can’t. 🤍
