Feeling some bittersweet emotions today as I close out 7.5 weeks of my first teaching opportunity ever 😭 Had you asked me before if I ever saw teaching high school students as part of my journey, I’d say, nah. Teaching in general was not something I saw for myself. I thought I’d solely partake in speaking engagements, host workshops, create intimate gatherings, etc. — building spaces for people adjacent to my own journey. But teach an intro to social media marketing class to high schoolers??? Me, who looks like a high schooler herself?? I could never. And yet I did. The thing about manifestations is that while you know what you want, you never quite know HOW you’ll achieve them. That’s what makes life so intriguing and meaningful—your purpose is only revealed to you within the moments they happen. You’ll always get to where you’re intended to, but it’s not yours to plan. It’s yours to begin.
