We made it back home and immediately jumped into rehearsals in our little Birdhouse Studio. I’ve been feeling super jet-lagged and I think because the sun is going down sooner it seems extra hard to be back in this time zone. Either way we’ve been having great rehearsals! Meegwetch @michaelshandkeys and @mountainwolfphotography ! I first time I met Moe Clark in person was at @alangreyeyes ‘ #AMPcamp in Manitoba. I was a facilitator and it was a fun week of working with all the Indigenous musicians that were present. Moe did a presentation with a looping pedal and her vocal pitch was just so fantastic! I was immediately impressed and her personality was equally impressive. When I heard this song of Moe’s I loved the rhythm and the standup bass which locks into such an awesome groove.
