Meet Caelyn Dolar, from United States. She is a carer and volunteer for people living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and she is a member of Blue Circle Voices network. I am the perfect example of a “DiaBestie”! I don’t have diabetes, but so many loved ones in my life do. Being a “DiaBestie” is sweet, but it can also be draining at times. You worry about your loved one; that the people around them won’t be able to help when you’re away. My mission is to put standards in place to take away some of this worry. I believe that no parent or carer should have to lie awake at night afraid of the unknown.
