I sincerely appreciate @ajtysiac and @milesplit for giving me the opportunity to pause and reflect on what all of “this” has been for and meant to me in track and field. - Talking to Ashley brought up the emotional realization that @aautrackandfield was my childhood. Every team or coach I spent time with became apart of the village that raised me. - I truly miss and forever am grateful for my first coach, Deanna Wile. She was the the person to not only introduce me to the sport but also the person to provide me a genuinely loving, nurturing, and fun environment to fall in love with the sport. She always kept my best interest at heart and reminded me that my gift was a blessing from God that I should passionately use fearlessly and unapologetically. - And with that love and passion, I believe I have been able to have longevity in this sport so that I could have the blessing to discover those meaningful parts of this journey that have made life more self-fulfilling, purposeful, and joyful. - Link in the bio to read the full interview.
